Jessica smiled, shaking her head, “No, it’s okay! Really! I’ll help you pick a pair though?” she grinned, holding the door open for the girl.
Ronnie raised an eyebrow “Yes, you must help me, but… i’m still getting you a pair rather you like it our not.” she pointed at you smiling then began to laugh
“Fine, I guess I’d be doin’ myself a disservice to deny a pair of shoes” she grinned, heading inside.
“Oh, Jess, I’ll know when you want a pair.” she pointed to her head and tapped it, then she got out of the car and followed Jessica in.
Jessica pulled up outside of Veronica’s house a little after sundown, honking lightly. She had had to take her car for a multitude of reasons, many of them involving getting away from any situation even if she was injured and the gun Bill…
Jessica caught Ronnie by surprise going a tad faster then the neighborhood limit “I’ve been alright, I can’t stand staying in that house.” she sighed and leaned back into the seat. she looked over at her “And you?”
Jessica shrugged a little, driving skillfully even at the high speeds, “I’m doing pretty well.” she grinned, “My maker and I have been spending a lot of time together recently, it’s pretty nice. I just needed some time out. Plus I know he has a lot of work I was keeping him from.” She gave a small giggle as she pulled onto the main interstate.
Ronnie nodded understandingly and looked back in front of her, she adjusted in her seat to see a bit better. “where are we going, anyway?” she looked over at her once again, not wanting to read her friends thoughts
“There’s this mall not too far from here and I figure since it’s getting cold and whatever it’d be better for you if we went somewhere indoors?” Jessica shrugged a little. It was funny, since being turned she was always hyper aware of the temperature when she was with humans. The cold wouldn’t have effected her but she didn’t want her friend to be cold so she had to think of something else to do.
Ronnie nodded “Alright, sounds fun.” she clapped as she went back to facing the front of the car. “Thank god my dad gave me money, maybe we could buy a few things.. I have an obsession over shoes, so..” she laughed
Jessica laughed, “Oh my god, me too! Bill hid all his credit cards from me, though.” she sighed lightly, “And Merlottes just does not pay well enough to fund my obsession. Damn fine taste.” She giggled as she pulled off the highway and made her way to the mall, parking near the front and getting out.
Ronnie got a thought “How bout’ I get you some, take it as a early christmas present or something.” she smiled feeling cheery sharing with her friend.

Your mom? Natalia Romanov..?
You got it.
This training is really paying off
Then you should keep at it.
I should, but either way my dad would make me train anyway. -laughs-
Yeah I’m sure he would. He doesn’t really seem like the type to just make you stop after some progress. At least from what I’ve seen.
it would be a miracle if he did.. I mean I like getting better with my mutation, but sometimes I need a break -shrugs-
